Album Notes & Community Reviews
The sophomore album from Montreal's Vicky Mettler, 'Spine' is another sharp and inventive work of deconstructed pop. The record builds on the sound of her acclaimed debut, 'Crease', with a more percussive and rhythmically complex approach. It's a tense and brilliant fusion of fractured guitar, industrial textures, glitchy electronic beats, and Mettler's intimate, commanding vocals.
