Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating with his highly celebrated 'American Quartet', the pianist delivers a deeply rhythmic, acoustic post-bop session steeped in spiritual jazz overtones. The ensemble dynamic relies heavily on Dewey Redman's forceful saxophone and Paul Motian's fluid drumming, creating a complex, avant-garde environment that remains highly communicative.
