Album Notes & Community Reviews
A deeply personal and intimate solo piano album, recorded at Jarrett's home studio while he was recovering from chronic fatigue syndrome. The performances of jazz standards and folk songs are spare, quiet, and profoundly lyrical, stripping away all virtuosic flair to focus purely on the essence of melody. The album is a testament to the healing power of music and a unique, poignant entry in Jarrett's vast discography.
