Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded with his acclaimed 'American Quartet', this release finds the piano maestro operating within relatively structured, deeply swinging post-bop compositions. Highlighted by the blistering saxophone contributions of Dewey Redman, the album successfully reigns in their typical avant-garde tendencies for an accessible yet incredibly energetic session.
