Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kelela masterfully reimagines her acclaimed sophomore album, handing the pristine alternative R&B tracks over to a diverse curation of global underground club producers. The resulting remixes heavily incorporate the frenetic pacing of footwork and the deep sub-bass of UK Funky, transforming the atmospheric originals into wildly eclectic, high-energy party anthems. It is a stunning, heavily rhythmic celebration of electronic dance music culture and LGBTQ+ nightlife.
