On her second full-length album 'Raven', Kelela creates a fluid and atmospheric soundscape that serves as an affirmation of Black and queer femme identity within the origins of dance music. The album, which she arranged and co-produced, masterfully oscillates between serene, ambient R&B and percussive, club-oriented electronic styles like drum and bass, creating a seamless and immersive sonic journey.
