Album Notes & Community Reviews

After years of highly acclaimed EPs and mixtapes, Kelela Mizanekristos releases her official debut studio album. Bridging the gap between 1990s contemporary R&B and futuristic, subterranean UK bass music, the record was heavily produced by Arca and Jam City. It provides a stunningly cohesive, deeply sensual narrative exploring the vulnerabilities and empowerment of navigating a breakup.
