Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kelis pivots sharply away from her R&B roots, teaming up with producers like David Guetta and Boys Noize to craft a continuous, club-ready electronic mix. 'Flesh Tone' heavily utilizes 4/4 house beats and glittering synth-pop textures to deliver themes of personal triumph and motherhood.
