Album Notes & Community Reviews
Offering a remarkably atmospheric, deeply nocturnal club document, this performance highlights the criminally underappreciated trumpeter's intensely lyrical and fluid improvisational approach. The wonderfully relaxed yet highly rhythmic execution completely epitomizes the sophisticated elegance of the mid-century New York jazz scene.
