Una más (One More Time)

A classic Blue Note session renowned for its 15-minute title track, a masterclass in sustained, smoldering groove. The album features a young, powerhouse rhythm section (including a 17-year-old Tony Williams) and marks one of the earliest recorded collaborations between Kenny Dorham and Joe Henderson. It's a perfect example of hard bop evolving into longer, more exploratory forms, using modal and Latin vamps as a launching pad for deep improvisation.
