Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled to multi-platinum status by the massive instrumental hit 'Songbird', this release cemented the saxophonist as the undisputed king of the emerging smooth jazz format. The album's highly polished, synth-funk-inflected pop production completely prioritized soft, romantic accessibility over traditional jazz improvisation.
