Album Notes & Community Reviews
A definitive masterpiece of the Yacht Rock canon, 'Keep the Fire' propelled Kenny Loggins further into massive solo superstardom. The record is famously buoyed by the Michael McDonald collaboration 'This Is It', a masterclass in silky, groove-heavy adult contemporary pop. Boasting immaculate production and soaring vocal performances, the album perfectly encapsulates the slick, affluent sound of late-seventies California.
