Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring a superlative backing band of Jan Garbarek, John Abercrombie, Dave Holland, and Jack DeJohnette, Wheeler's second ECM release is a masterwork of atmospheric post-bop. His lyrical, brassy flugelhorn performances elegantly navigate the complex, floating compositions favored by producer Manfred Eicher.
