Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kepa Junkera's 'K' documents the Basque trikitixa master in concert, the second of two albums he made under a contract with EMI after 'Maren'. From Rekalde in Bilbao, Junkera had by then rebuilt the diatonic accordion's role in Basque music, adding txalaparta and alboka to its traditional frame.
