Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ottawa quartet Kepler's debut album, 'Fuck Fight Fail' works the slowcore seam between Low and Codeine: funereal tempos, sustained guitar chords and Samir Khan's near-whispered bass and vocals. The lineup of Khan, Jon Georgekish-Watt, Michael Sheridan and future Arcade Fire drummer Jeremy Gara favours space and decay over dynamics, making it a key document of Canadian slowcore.
