Showcasing considerable songwriting growth from their debut, Kerbdog's 'On The Turn' features a dense, riff-heavy, and meticulously produced alternative rock sound, crafted by producer GGGarth Richardson. The album's protracted and costly recording sessions led to significant label delays and the departure of guitarist Billy Dalton, ultimately resulting in a commercial failure that saw the band dropped. Despite its initial poor reception, 'On The Turn' achieved significant cult status, with its blend of heavy yet melodic hooks influencing prominent rock acts like Biffy Clyro and Frank Turner.
