Rainbow

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following a prolonged, highly publicized legal battle to free herself from an abusive recording contract, Kesha returns with a fiercely defiant and emotionally cathartic comeback record. The album drastically shifts away from heavily auto-tuned party anthems to feature live acoustic instrumentation, country-pop duets with Dolly Parton, and soaring, orchestral ballads. It is a profoundly triumphant reclamation of her artistic and personal autonomy.
