Blanket

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the dissolution of Brockhampton, Kevin Abstract's third solo album represents a radical departure from hip-hop into 1990s-inspired alternative and indie rock. 'Blanket' relies heavily on fuzzed-out acoustic guitars, grunge-influenced arrangements, and intimate bedroom pop sensibilities. The project is highly introspective and melancholic, addressing themes of queer identity and profound anxiety with bittersweet melodicism.
