Falling Up

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from a semi-reclusive period in Spain, the founding Soft Machine member released this relatively straightforward, melodic pop-rock effort. Produced partially in Madrid, the album features his trademark warm, baritone voice backed by polished, late-eighties synthesizer and guitar arrangements. While lacking the profound eccentricity of his early Canterbury scene work, it remains a charmingly mature singer-songwriter collection.
