Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Sweet Deceiver' finds Kevin Ayers backed by guitarist Ollie Halsall, delivering an eclectic mix of progressive pop and straightforward rock. Featuring Elton John on session piano, the production contrasts Ayers's deadpan, bittersweet lyricism with surprisingly polished, melodic arrangements.
