Album Notes & Community Reviews

Former Soft Machine bassist and idiosyncratic songwriter Kevin Ayers continued his erratic solo career with 'That's What You Get Babe'. Produced in Spain, the album features a breezy, slightly disjointed collection of pop-rock tunes delivered with his signature deadpan baritone and melancholic wit. While often overlooked, it captures the charming, laid-back eccentricity of his later catalog.
