Album Notes & Community Reviews
Reflecting his famously laid-back, hedonistic lifestyle in the Mediterranean, the former Soft Machine frontman delivers a highly melodic, surprisingly accessible collection of art-pop. The sessions feature an eclectic cast of session musicians, creating a lush, playfully cynical backdrop for his deep baritone croon. The record serves as a charmingly eccentric midpoint between classic progressive rock ambition and breezy, 1970s pop sensibilities.
