Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during a tumultuous period marked by personal struggles and an impending nervous breakdown, 'Bursting Bubbles' is one of Kevin Coyne's most raw and uncomfortably intimate releases. Abandoning traditional rock instrumentation for sparse synthesizers and erratic rhythms, his anguished vocal delivery cuts through the minimalist production. It stands as a harrowing, experimental detour in the respected songwriter's discography.
