Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing his distinctly abrasive and unvarnished vocal style, 'Millionaires and Teddy Bears' is a darkly humorous set of biting character studies. Kevin Coyne integrates jittery, art-rock instrumentation with raw, blues-inflected folk, delivering cynical commentaries on British society and personal neuroses. The album firmly solidifies his reputation as one of the most uncompromising, eccentric voices in the UK singer-songwriter tradition.
