Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released posthumously following the composer's tragic passing, this ambitious rock opera serves as a sprawling, cynical critique of the music industry. Assembled and completed by close collaborators including Nick D'Virgilio, 'The Shaming of the True' showcases Gilbert's virtuosic multi-instrumental abilities and sharp, theatrical songwriting. The concept album remains a deeply respected cult classic among progressive rock enthusiasts.
