Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as a heavily overlooked masterpiece of 90s singer-songwriter pop, 'Thud' is a deeply cynical, highly introspective solo debut from multi-instrumentalist Kevin Gilbert. The album brilliantly merges incredibly lush, progressive-leaning art rock arrangements with sharp, often brutally self-lacerating lyrical narratives. Tragically, it stands as the only solo album released during the immensely talented producer's brief lifetime.
