The debut solo effort from the former 'Woods' bassist was recorded in Los Angeles following his relocation from New York City. The arrangements on 'Harlem River' prioritize long-form, hypnotic guitar grooves and a prominent use of twelve-string guitars that evoke a sense of urban nostalgia. It functions as a stylistic bridge between the DIY indie-folk of the Northeast and the sun-drenched psychedelic rock of the West Coast.
