The Texas-based trio's debut album introduces their signature, globally-infused instrumental rock sound. Heavily inspired by 1960s Thai funk and surf rock cassettes, the incredibly tight rhythm section provides a deep, dub-like pocket for Mark Speer's melodic, reverb-soaked guitar lines. The wordless, incredibly smooth atmosphere made it an immediate underground favorite that sparked their eventual massive popularity.
