Album Notes & Community Reviews
The sophomore album from the duo of 脫lafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen arrives a decade after their celebrated debut, continuing their exploration of melodic, atmospheric techno. 'II' deepens their synthesis of neoclassical and electronic elements, featuring emotive piano motifs and string arrangements set against refined, percussive frameworks. The record evolves their sound with influences from ambient and future garage, creating a soundscape that is both melancholic and uplifting.
