Album Notes & Community Reviews

August Darnell's theatrical ensemble continued their exploration of Caribbean rhythms and big band jazz fused with contemporary dance music. While slightly more streamlined than their early 80s masterpieces, the record retains their signature tropical aesthetic, cynical wit, and lush horn arrangements.
