Originally intended as a short EP bridging the gap between his 'Man on the Moon' series, it expanded into a moody, heavily synthesized full-length surprise release. Heavily self-produced, the project almost entirely abandons traditional rapping for sprawling, cinematic instrumental passages and crooning, melancholic reflections on space travel and profound isolation.
