Album Notes & Community Reviews

Known widely for his work in the avant-garde ensemble Met谩 Met谩, the Brazilian guitarist releases an overwhelmingly rhythmic, purely acoustic solo record. Foregoing typical studio polish, Dinucci utilizes heavily percussive, fiercely complex nylon-string fingerpicking to evoke the spirit of Afro-Brazilian Candombl茅 ceremonies. It is a stunning, virtuosic homage to the raw, visceral origins of traditional Brazilian folk.
