Ikimono no tamashii no yukue

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Diverging sharply from his chaotic, horror-themed Vocaloid work, 'Ikimono no tamashii no yukue' is a breathtakingly gorgeous, peaceful exploration of ambient folktronica. Kikuo constructs deeply immersive, acoustic-driven soundscapes layered with delicate, organic sound design and ethereal vocal performances. The remarkably serene, dream-like album highlights his extraordinary versatility as a producer beyond the confines of internet-pop madness.
