Album Notes & Community Reviews
Infusing their bleak post-punk assault with deeply hypnotic, primal percussion, Killing Joke's 'Fire Dances' is a highly aggressive exploration of pagan ritualism. Geordie Walker’s churning, dissonant guitar riffs interlock with Paul Ferguson’s pounding tribal rhythms, providing a dense, incredibly dark backdrop for Jaz Coleman’s intense, apocalyptic ranting.
