Voyeur

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tasked with following up the monumental, Grammy-winning success of 'Bette Davis Eyes', the raspy-voiced vocalist doubled down on cinematic, synthesizer-driven pop production. 'Voyeur' is a tense, highly atmospheric exploration of modern paranoia and romance, featuring intense electronic arrangements that border on new wave. While it didn't replicate her previous commercial peaks, it remains a critically respected, deeply moody pop rock statement.
