Album Notes & Community Reviews

Temporarily distancing himself from his highly lucrative session work as a gritty R&B and rock 'n' roll saxophonist, the artist proves his formidable credentials within an acoustic modern jazz setting. Surrounded by heavyweights like Nat Adderley and Wynton Kelly, he brings his trademark stuttering, soulful drive to complex bop structures.
