Album Notes & Community Reviews

The prodigious English songwriter delivers a wildly erratic, frighteningly complex sophomore album that cemented his reputation as an eccentric indie-rock visionary. The record aggressively shifts between delicate, avant-folk acoustic picking and massive, distorted math-rock explosions, famously anchored by the monumental, 16-minute centerpiece 'Pink Fruit'. It was lauded for its uncompromising ambition and incredibly dense, literary songwriting.
