The Japanese brother duo delivers an exceptionally sophisticated, impeccably produced album that heavily references late-70s and early-80s yacht rock and AOR. '3' intertwines incredibly tight, funk-inflected rhythm sections with lush string arrangements and complex, jazz-oriented chord progressions.
