Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tragically serving as her final album before her sudden passing, the British singer-songwriter completely immersed herself in Afro-Cuban rhythms and Brazilian instrumentation. 'Tropical Brainstorm' combines MacColl's sharp, famously witty lyrical observations with vibrant, dance-oriented Latin pop production. The resulting record is an exuberantly joyful, playfully lush celebration of South American musical traditions.
