Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kaoru Ishibashi embarks on a deeply personal, historical journey, heavily researching the Japanese-American internment camps of World War II for this conceptual project. The album utilizes sweeping orchestral pop and progressive folk to explore the trauma of wartime incarceration and modern xenophobia. It acts as an incredibly moving, empathetic musical documentary.
