Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stef Heeren鈥檚 dark-folk ensemble delivered an incredibly grim, Nick Cave-esque vision of European neofolk on this release. Moving away from the droning, ritualistic elements of their early work, the record favors a more traditional gothic country sound heavily laced with poetic fatalism and melancholic string arrangements.
