Album Notes & Community Reviews
Enlisting Wolf Parade's Dan Boeckner for production duties, the Toronto-based quartet dials back their traditionally jangly slacker-rock in favor of polished, synthesizer-tinged indie pop. The bright, melodic hooks act as a clever disguise for the band's characteristically cryptic and sardonic lyricism.
