Album Notes & Community Reviews
The tenth album by Hankus Netsky's Boston ensemble, formed around jam sessions at the New England Conservatory, opens with 'Sarba Miracinae', learned from a 1938 recording by Alexander Olshanetsky's New York orchestra. The band had by then carried klezmer to a mass television audience alongside Itzhak Perlman in the PBS special 'In the Fiddler's House'.
