Album Notes & Community Reviews
On 'L'茅toile thoracique', Kl么 Pelgag establishes a sound rooted in baroque and symphonic pop, defined by its lush orchestral arrangements of strings and brass, theatrical dynamics, and her own creative, wide-ranging vocal melodies. The album's songwriting is marked by surreal, poetic lyrics that explore themes of vulnerability, illness, and familial memory through absurd and often anatomical imagery. Co-produced by Pelgag, the album's intricate and layered production creates a distinctive and emotionally resonant soundscape that confirmed her status as a unique voice in contemporary French-language music.
