Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as his official major-label debut after years of prolific Bandcamp releases, the Los Angeles beatmaker delivers a dazzling, fragmented hip-hop collage. The 26 tracks rely on woozy, unquantized drum loops and incredibly obscure soul and jazz samples that blur together in a hazy, continuous mix. It firmly established him as a premier successor to the instrumental beat-scene throne left by J Dilla.
