Album Notes & Community Reviews

Congolese soukous singer Koffi Olomide's 'Loi' is the record that carried the ndombolo dance across Africa, its title track becoming the hallmark of the style. Within months of release, the Congolese censorship commission banned both the song and the dance, deeming ndombolo excessively lascivious.
