Album Notes & Community Reviews
Composed by Koji Kondo for Nintendo's first 3D Zelda game, 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Original Soundtrack' collects 82 tracks on a single disc, built around the five-note ocarina melodies the player performs within the game. GameSpot named it one of the ten best video game soundtracks in 2001, and its Hyrule Field theme was constructed to shift in mood with the player's actions.
