Album Notes & Community Reviews

Based conceptually around the underworld of Finnish mythology, 'Manala' finds the prolific folk-metal sextet adopting a slightly darker, more serious tone than their typical drinking anthems. The record seamlessly integrates traditional instruments like the violin and accordion with heavy metal guitar chugging, capturing the frantic energy of a mythological humppa dance.
