Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kris Kristofferson's fifth studio album is a distinctly dark and introspective concept record focusing on the pitfalls of fame, substance abuse, and personal disillusionment. Featuring a gritty, stripped-down country-rock backing, the album was a critical departure from his earlier commercial successes, heavily solidifying his reputation within the outlaw country movement.
