Album Notes & Community Reviews

Breaking an eleven-year hiatus from recording original material, country music icon Kris Kristofferson enlisted producer Don Was for 'This Old Road'. The remarkably intimate, stripped-down album relies almost entirely on Kristofferson's weary, gravelly vocals and sparse acoustic guitar to deliver deeply melancholic reflections on aging and mortality.
